What packages are available?

Liverpool Cemetery offer an affordable cremation package to families for only $1850.  This includes a service at the chapel, single garden niche, cremated remains interment and memorial plaque.

What burial options do I have at Liverpool Cemetery?

Liverpool Cemetery provides a wide range of both above ground and below ground burial options.  Families are encouraged to visit the cemetery before purchasing to view the choice of burial options available.  There are a number of monumental and lawn graves, crypts, family vaults and niches for cremated remains.

A natural burial area is available at Kemps Creek Cemetery, for those who prefer to be in a more natural environment with no formal headstones or monuments.

Can I be cremated at Liverpool Cemetery?

Definitely, the cemetery utilises the latest technology and modern practices for those that wish to be cremated.  There is a wide variety of options available to those who wish to be memorialised after cremation, at the cemetery.

Can any cultural or religious group use the cemetery?

Liverpool Cemetery & Crematorium is part of the local community and respects and serves all cultural and religious groups that would like to be buried or interred at the cemetery.

Is there a chapel available on-site?

Liverpool Cemetery & Crematorium offer 2 chapels:

1) a multi-denominational chapel open to all, even if they are not buried or cremated within the cemetery; and

2) a second Christian-based chapel located in the St Padre Pio Garden Mausoleum available for funeral and memorial services with an ordained minister/clergy. 

Can I have a function at the cemetery?

Yes, Liverpool Cemetery has two condolence lounges that provide a place for remembrance after a funeral or cremation service.  Clients have total flexibility and can self-cater or use professional caterers for their function.

Do I need a Funeral Director? 

Yes, if you do not have a preferred Funeral Director, Liverpool Cemetery can recommend local funeral directors that help guide you through the entire process.

What is memorialisation?

Memorialisation is an important and permanent way to remember the life of a family member or friend.  A memorial gives you a permanent place of reflection and comfort, where you and future generations can visit for years to come.

You can talk to one of our caring staff on 02 9602 0344 on the many options available to memorialise which includes personalised headstones and plaques.

What time does Liverpool Cemetery open?

Liverpool Cemetery is open every day from dawn until dusk.  The exact opening and closing times will vary with the seasons.

How can I get there?

There is a bus stop at the front gates on Moore St, on both sides of the street.

There is another bus stop a short 5 minute walk from the cemetery, located on Anderson Avenue and Flowerdale Street.

How can I find the grave, crypt or niche of a family member or friend I would like to visit?

Simply call the office on 02 9602 0344 and one of our friendly staff will be able to assist you. 

Is there a florist at Liverpool Cemetery?

Yes, there is a florist available onsite on Saturday and Sunday with both fresh and artificial flowers.
